Fearless! An Exotic Dancer’s Guide to Personal and Professional Success
Kerri Walker is strong willed and a hard working modern woman. She set her mind to walk away from all the hang-ups and traditional taboos holding her down in the middle of her Masters’ degree with large enough debt that seemed to only grow more. In fear of a dimmed future, she became Fearless.
The book, Fearless!, is Kerri’s bold memoir about her journey to reach financial, and also otherwise, independence through exotic dancing. The book is a complete guide to personal and professional success as she walks one through some tips and tricks as to how to keep one’s head straight and body healthy in a bar joint that is a hub for alcohol, drugs and a whole lot of freaky minds.
‘Fearless’ also provides glimpses into the abyss of a big town night life. Kerri’s journey is revolved around people who are not the norm in society, at least for the time they spend in that bar. For example, some customers walk in a bar to fill their subconscious voids. They drink, reach that state of mind and look and demand what they do not find elsewhere. It could be their fantasy or desire or just a hope-and-cope method. Similarly, Kerri’s co-workers and associates are in their own world trying to find a portal that will merge their world with the reality outside of the bar. Or not.
The book talks about the reasons and the mindset that propelled her to go out and explore the endless possibilities of a big city to make money. When the traditional jobs didn’t suit the pursuit of her dreams, she turned to exotic dancing.
Staying focused on her goal helped her polish her working habits which she shares with the readers of her book. Kerri gives tips on staying in shape and staying out of drugs as well as how to budget. Staying level headed, Kerri saved enough to visit abroad, study and invest.
‘Fearless’ is full of strategies to survive and become the winner.
