Memories Pouring Down

A William Shakespeare Sonnet

Memories Pouring Down

Rain kept falling in the dark stormy night.

Extinguishing the sparks in an air flight.

Down the memory lane I kept walking,

Searching, forgetting then remembering.

Touching my soul a warm loving embrace.

Whispering knowledge, wisdom in my ears.

Leading all the way holding my small hands.

That was always you, how could I forget!

Always have the best interests for me.

Let’s walk together, is what you once said.

Nothing will break me I hold my head high,

You once looked in my eyes to clarify.

These memories lead all the way to you.

Grandpa, hold my hand again I need you.
